Great for all ages

We bought this keyboard for my son’s fourth birthday because he loves music and especially piano. He and his two year old sister love to listen and dance with the rhythms and use the keyboard to play along. I also started using the lesson program some as I have no idea how to play the piano. I found it to be really neat and easy to use.

Good product but missing earphones

I was impressed by the speed and quality of the product. It was a pleasure to buy something and not wait forever for it. The only dissappointment was the earphones were not received and no response from the seller yet. But I’m hopeful since the sale was so quick.
I would certainly order from them again.

I have to admit that I am impressed with this purchase. I am a beginner and have been researching portable keyboards for a while. I have wanted to learn to play all of my life, and when I saw this keyboard package deal….I got it.
The music stand attachment and the adapter are not the ones described. The music stand attachment is nothing but a piece of wire – flimsy – and does not hold the music well at all. The adapter is a good generic adapter but not the Yamaha adapter in the description.
Headphones are excellent! USB port for connecting to the computer surprised me since the description didn’t say anything about that. I am glad it is there since it will make it easier to learn to play this keyboard. It also includes a keyboard stand which comes disassembled but it was very easy to put together…and they even sent an allen wrench to help with assembly! The keyboard stand is sturdy and very portable.
The keyboard itself is light weight, good sound and easy to use. 400 tones. 150 rhythms. 110 songs programmed in to the keyboard. Casio makes good products and I am so glad I got this. It was worth the money.

This is a fun keyboard. It does everything. I just need to learn to play better. I would recommend this keyboard to anyone that likes to play and have fun.
For the price it is well worth it.

Love it. The headphones make it nice to practice so you’re not bothering anyone else in the room. Sound is awesome, and learning is simplified into stages which makes it fun to learn songs.

decent keyboard! Not so for professionals

Great quality. Nothing much I can say. You need something else to connect to the audio jack because simply plugging in the headset to the keyboard won’t work, you still hear sounds coming out from the keyboard itself. No USB connector supplied. “Professional Headphone” is ok, not a great piece obviously. I didn’t use the stand yet so no comment on that. It’s easy and sufficient for a beginner to intermediate to use.

The keyboard is fantastic but I bought it in a promotional package that included headphones. The latter was very disappointing and it was not functioning properly.

Nice keyboard, but….

Bought this in Sept 08 for Xmas present for one of my kids. The keyboard sounds nice and has two speakers built in. I’m happy with the keyboard but there are many keyboards at this price point, so I would suggest people do their research for the features they desire. The stand is much more solid than I anticipated, so I was more than happy with the stand. However the headphones and adapter don’t work. Mine was an RCA adapter, not yamaha as described. I still feel I got a good deal on the keyboard and stand alone for $99 w/free shipping, and I remain a loyal Amazon shopper. I was satisfied enough not to take the offer of a refund/exchange from Amazon(excellent customer service).

A real piano has 88 keys, not 61. This keyboard does NOT have onboard speakers. Just headphones. You need speakers, even if you sometimes play with headphones bcs everyone else is asleep. If you are getting this for a child, the student MUST have sound that doesn’t come thru speakers. mb
