Never played before The EZ- lighted keyboard from Yamaha will have you playing songs from the very first day Just call up a song from the songs built-in to the keyboard select if you’d like to play the left or right hand part and hit Start The keyboard will light up the key that you’re supposed to play and in fact the song will actually stop and wait for you to find the correct key All of the tools you need are found in the keyboard including how to play chords If you’re buying a keyboard having piano in mind you’ll want Yamaha’s Touch Response feature On an acoustic piano striking a key harder will produce a louder sound striking it softer will produce a softer sound With Yamaha’s Touch Response the EZ- keyboard responds like an acoustic piano You’re never more than a button push away from the most realistic piano sound in portable keyboards today One press of the Portable Grand button resets the entire keyboard to a stereo-sampled piano perfect for when it’s time to practice Yamaha is known around the world for the quality of our acoustic pianos and this attention to detail is evident as you enjoy the warmth and clarity of the EZ- Portable Grand piano And of course the keyboard includes a Sustain Pedal jack on the back for practicing and playing piano pieces The music pathway to your computer and the Internet is MIDI It’s the way that keyboards communicate with computers And because the EZ- is both General MIDI GM and XGlite compatible you have access to thousands of MIDI song files on the Internet The EZ- has Voices for you to choose from For example there are pianos electric pianos harpsichord guitars drums bass violins brass and synthesizer voices Pretty much every instrument in the orchestra is at your fingertips And if you don’t know which sound goes with what style of music the keyboard can select an appropriate sound for you using the convenient One-Touch Setting Some keyboards have two speakers but aren’t stereo Don’t be fooled Just because a keyboard has two speakers doesn’t mean that it’s truly stereo with two separate amplifiers All Yamaha Portable Keyboards feature stereo-sampling technology In electronic keyboards the more sounds made at the same time polyphony the more memory is needed Obviously more is always better because too little polyphony can cause dropouts in dense passages of music Some keyboards at this price point have only -note polyphony The EZ- has notes of polyphony and will play back different parts or sounds at once -part multi timbrel enough for the most demanding needs Yamaha has long been a world leader in digital more info

What any child o adult wants
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
I bought this for my two little daughters (10 and 7 years old), it was [...] with stand and professional headphones, incredible price not ?, then it increased to [...], but still really cheap for an awesome keyboard, the best part is the teaching program, my daughters after 2 weeks are playing 2 beautiful songs, if you are a good father, buy this to your sons.

Nice

This is my first real keyboard and I got it to learn to play piano. I’ve only had it a few days but I’m really impressed by it so far. The keyboard seems to be really good with teaching songs, not only do the keys light up but it tells you which fingers to use and it can teach one hand at a time which is nice for a beginner. I really wasn’t expecting much but this thing sounds like a real piano and even the stand and headphones are pretty good quality.

Like most other people have said, the stand isnt the greatest but it works. I love the keyboard though.

Keyboard may be fine, Stand a nightmare, Packaging Shoddy
Rating:1 out of 5 stars
First, I’m reviewing the package, not the keyboard. The keyboard stand came in abysmal condition — obviously a return, shoddily repackaged (a box torn open in the center and back together with packing tape) and without instructions or all parts (and the whole thing looked cheap and had a strong burnt-plastic odor). The headphones may also ahve been a return. There was no cushioning of the separate items in the main box at all. This is the second “mid priced” item I’ve bought from Amazon this Fall/Winter which they couldn’t bother to package — maybe they’re making so much on Kindles that they don’t care anymore. In any event, this might be one item you want to shop the brick stores first before buying online.

My new Yamaha keyboard from Amazon
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
My new Yamaha EZ200 61 Full-Sized Touch Sensitive with Lighted Keys was everything I’d hoped for and then some! It came with Headphones, Keyboard Stand, and Power Supply for under $200 which is a very reasonable price. I just started piano lessons and this works out very well for my practice sessions, and when I’m tired of hearing myself, I can play some of the programmed songs so I can hear what’s possible for me down-the-road after a lot more practice! I especially like the learning suite that lights up the keys that I should play and waits for me before moving on so I can learn those programmed songs on my own. It keeps me entertained for hours. I heartily recommend this product.

Start playing within minutes
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
For someone looking for instant gratification, this keyboard offers just that. Open the box, read the simple instructions and begin playing even classical pieces because the keyboard will tell you where to put your fingers exactly! From there you can memorize the piece yourself so you can play without needing the assistance. Great Idea

Awesome product

Now, I have to admit that I was a bit nervous about buying a keyboard via the Internet, as I have never owned one beforehand. However, I wanted to learn how to play the piano and had heard that this was a good one to start with from several different piano teachers. Wow, this is quite the bargain. The keyboard comes with a stand, headphones (in case you don’t want to run off all of your family and friends as you’re learning to play), and also a power adapter. I was surprised to find out that the keyboard does not normally come with these features, (as they are traditionally sold separately), but this package comes with all of these features!
The keyboard comes with about 100 built-in songs, (a part of the Yamaha Educational Suite), which you can learn to play along with. (Personally, I have found it easier to buy the Bastien learning series books, as the songs that are included with this keyboard are in small print. This is just my experience, but since I am teaching myself to play, I have found these starter books to be a wonderful guide for an absolute beginner. I am already starting to play songs that I never dreamed possible! Wow, so cool…)
One thing that I really like about this keyboard is that it’s piano voice sounds just like a high-quality grand piano. Best of all, the keyboard is very simple to use — and not complicated.
One thing that I am disappointed in is that it does not come with a USB connection. Instead, I had to buy a MIDI-connector for $40 dollars, so I could connect it to my Mac. I wanted to record my playing, but quickly discovered that Apple’s Garageband couldn’t seem to work with it. Yes, I have read the instruction manual and followed its directions step-by-step, but still no results. Garageband claims that its connected, but no results.
Overall, this is a great keyboard for getting started. If you are hoping to record your music, you might want to check into a more expensive Yamaha model with a USB connector.

Not only did this ship really quickly, but it arrived it wonderful condition. The stand is a little bit unsteady, but its nothing unmanageable. I love the keyboard, though. I was playing Fur Elise within the first hour. Definitely a great keyboard for those just starting out!

What an awesome keyboard! I bought this for my son just to get him started with piano. He loves the lights on the keys. He watches it as it plays a song and then he follows it. The adults love it too. The demo is great to use when you just want to hear a couple of background music – so relaxing!

Great keyboard, stand does not fit
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
The keyboard is amazing. Has good sound, easy learning features. The kids enjoy it a lot and so does my husband. The only problem with this bundle is that the stand does not fit very well and as a result the keyboard is a bit unstable.

Perfect for beginners!
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
Searched many Yamaha and Roland models and kept returning to this one. Had everything we needed all in one bundle. Was a little hesitate to order because of the comments made about the stand, but we have had no problems, steady enough for my 9 year old but we have it set about halfway so I don’t know how steady it would be set up all the way up to the highest setting. The headphones are great!
The only accessory we will have to buy is a foot pedal but that is later on. Highly recommend for a beginner (has several functions/sounds/settings/volume/light up keys than you can turn off if you want.

Great for beginners
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
My daughter is learning how to play the piano, we bought this keyboard following specifications from her instructor, (she actually wanted us to buy a piano!), this one is great: 61 full sized keys, you can play it low or high, you can add a pedal (it has the jack on the back). This set has a especially good price because you also get: headphones, stand and the power supply; if you buy only the keyboard and start buying the rest of the extras apart, you’ll finish paying a lot of money. We really like the headphones, she can play the keyboard any time without interrupting her little brother nap. The stand is OK, I don’t see it as bad as some of the reviews say. The touch sensitive lighted keys are a pro too, for kids that learn by view.

Yamaha EZ-200
Rating:4 out of 5 stars
This keyboard is great! I bought it because I started taking piano lessons and it is perfect to practice on. The keys light up which help you so you know what keys are being pressed. If you don’t want the keys to light up, simply turn them off with the touch of a button. The keyboard is light and doesn’t take up much space. I found the assembly of the stand to be easy. I didn’t have a chance to use the headphones yet because I have different headphones. I highly recommend this keyboard to anyone looking to buy a keyboard.

Good piano for the money
Rating:5 out of 5 stars
This piano is worth the money. It’s a perfect starter piano and the ear-phones and stand are also a good extra. It could be plugged in or just put batteries.I recommend this to any beginner or anyone who wants a keyboard piano that’s inexpensive.

Good keyboard, awful and incompatible stand
Rating:2 out of 5 stars
Good keyboard but awful, incompatible stand. The keyboard merely rests on top of the bars of this stand. There seem to be points on the keyboard where a stand could be screwed on. I researched it and found there is a dedicated Yamaha stand for this keyboard. Why Amazon sells a stand that doesn’t work is beyond me. I can’t return the stand by itself because it comes as a package. I recommend getting just the keyboard–sin stand.
